Shot Tec LLC offers:
1. Simulation defense training that is instructor-led. We offer personal training and group classes. In addition to basic and advanced proficiency and safe handling, our specialty is Use of Force and Strategies & Tactics that are legal, practical, and tactical. Win the fight. Feel confident and stay out of jail.
2. Full service FFL (Federal Firearms Licensee) and Retailer. We are happy to consult with you on your acquisitions, transfers, sales, accessorizing, and more. We have ammo, bulk ammo, less-lethal tools, holsters, optics, lights, lasers, and more.
3. You can also order online via our SHOP ONLINE and save by picking up in store.
4. HOLD MY GUNS (HMG) PARTNER: Unlike many stores that happen to sell firearms, Shot Tec foremost believes in your constitutional rights and facilitating your responsibilities. As a HMG partner, we are a safe storage location. If for whatever reason you no longer want your firearms in your home (no questions asked) we are happy to store them for a nominal monthly storage fee. By law, you will need to do the transfer paperwork to pick them back up.
5. Relinquishment Program for anyone who no longer wants their firearms and “Justice-involved persons.”
Simulation Training Range
Shot Tec is your training solution. We teach you how to safely and effectively use, handle and shoot using laser recoil enabled firearms and simulator. If you are nervous about shooting we have a consequence free learning environment, our simulator provides games drills and scenarios to teach you how to shoot.
Curating Personal Shopping
Shot Tec is your local boutique gun store. We are now walk-in friendly, but appointments are recommended so we can continue our 5-star customer service centered business. We started with one-on-one consultations and services for defense or sport. We provide personal shopping experiences and recommendations based on the clients needs, not the product that needs to be sold.

Shot Tec LLC is an FFL, firearms and defense retailer and simulation training company. Our mission is to make quality firearms education and defense training maximally accessible. We do this via advanced simulation technology and consulting services. You can buy, sell, trade, online transfer, store, forfeit, and even destroy at Shot Tec, LLC. We utilize a virtual range/simulator to engage in this course. Bring your own water and notebook. Classroom only; instructor-led PowerPoint presentation highlighting the history and popularity of the AR-15; parts, features, and functions; overview of cleaning and maintenance; accessorizing the AR-15; and basics about using the AR-15 for home defense.
A number of basic and advanced skills designed to take your skill level beyond the building blocks introduced in Lesson Three, and dramatically elevate your speed, accuracy, and enjoyment at the range.
This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Shot Tec provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.
Due to the spike in carjackings, Shot Tec has arranged this class to address the needs of the community and the fastest growing threat: carjackings. In the first 7 months of 2022, there have been over 700 carjackings in Philly. This class breaks down the problem, strategies and tactics used by carjackers, and how you can avoid, mitigate, and fight back. It also features a case study video and will feature the simulator to teach this class via kinesthetic learning.
Walk into any gun shop, and the variety of gear and gadgets available can be a bit overwhelming. Gun vaults, holsters, lights, lasers—where do you start?
In this lesson, Shot Tec will explain each of those pieces of gear, and he’ll discuss the options you should consider when you’re ready to go shopping.
This lesson will continue with the basics, including a very visual overview of what we call the “building blocks” or the fundamentals for accurate and safe shooting. Within this lesson, Michael Martin will explain the differences between the skills required for being a good “marksman” at the range, and the skills that might be required to save your life if you are ever the subject of a violent attack.
Cleaning your gun is crucial maintaining its safety, reliability, and performance. Learn the basics of how to clean and maintain your firearm.
In this lesson, Michael Martin will cover important legal topics, including the laws governing the legal use of force inside and outside the home. Within this lesson, you’ll get a chance to test what you’ve learned, using several real world scenarios with you as the actor.

Developing a personal & home protection plan is a key component of not only preparing for how we should (or might) react if confronted by a violent crime, but also how we might avoid violent crime in the first place. Within this lesson, Michael Martin explains that developing a protection plan is about much more than becoming proficient with a firearm or writing up a home invasion plan. It’s a plan that must encompass awareness, avoidance, and preparation, so that we’re less likely to find ourselves in a situation where we have no other option than to use our firearm, rather than more likely.

This lesson explains what physical and mental reactions may occur when a human undergoes extreme stress, such as during an incident involving deadly force. It also explains what you should do immediately after using force to defend yourself. Also, when law enforcement arrives, it is crucial that you conduct yourself in the correct manner and prepare yourself for the consequences, even when you are in the right.
