Shot Tec is your trusted, local Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer offering a wide range of legal firearm services in full compliance with federal and state laws. Whether you’re looking to buy a gun, sell or trade firearms, or need help with a gun transfer or storage, our experienced professionals are here to assist you safely and responsibly.

Fully Licensed & Legal Firearm Services

We serve firearm owners, collectors, first-time buyers, inheritors, estate planners, 2A- friendly mental health professionals, and those who need help safely acquiring, disposing of, or transferring a gun. Our services include:

Buy & Sell Firearms

Purchase new or used firearms from a reputable FFL dealer. We offer a selection of handguns, rifles, shotguns, and more. Looking to sell? We buy legally-owned firearms at fair market value and will walk you through our appraisal of your firearms. You can choose to sell on commission through us and get paid when the gun is sold to it’s forever home or cash out and be paid on the spot.

Trade Guns

Trade your firearm toward another model from our inventory or that of our suppliers. Great for upgrading or changing styles without hassle. This can especially be a great option for optimizing holster, magazine, and accessory capability and compatibility such as swapping out a firearm that is not red-dot ready for one that is.

FFL Firearm Transfers

Legally transfer a firearm with ease—whether you’re buying online, transferring between states, or need a private party transfer, or inheriting one from an estate. We handle all the paperwork and compliance for you.

Firearm Storage

Secure, climate-controlled short- or long-term gun storage options. Ideal during moves, legal holds, or temporary needs. We are a Hold My Guns storage partner; offering no-questions asked storage and lawful FFL transfer when you pick them up. We are also a Pennsylvania PFAD Armory that can be designated to store your firearms or sell them on commission if you are “justice involved” and are working through a Protection From Abuse order or similar court proceedings and need legal way to store firearms or sell them while short term, long term, or indefinitely not able to possess firearms. This includes knives and other otherwise lawful weapons as well.

Gun Buyback Program

Voluntarily surrender a legal firearm through our no-judgment buyback program. Safe, legal, and confidential. You still will need to lawfully possess the firearm and the firearm must still be legal to own of course. This can be great for unwanted firearms, firearms that no longer hold monetary value, broken and not worth repair, morale objections to inherited firearms, and for whatever reason.

Firearm Destruction & Relinquishment

We offer legal firearm destruction and relinquishment services for estates, individuals, or law enforcement coordination. Are your guns being held by a police department or Sheriff’s Office? We can help you through the new process so you can designate Shot Tec to store them for you while you are working through the court system to have your rights restored or designate Shot Tec as your FFL to have your firearm(s) sold on commission or even destroyed and sold for parts on commission. We are happy to provide all paperwork and coordination with notary and law enforcement services to legally leverage your equity so that you get paid for your firearms. Don’t wait. Contact us before that police department or Sheriff’s Office attempts to designate your firearms “abandoned property” and attempts to have them destroyed.
