Effective Date: September 28, 2026
These Shot Tec Team Console Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Shot Tec Team Console (“Team Console”), an internal and business web application operated by Shot Tec, LLC (“Shot Tec,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using Team Console, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use Team Console.
1. Acceptance of Terms
You accept these Terms by accessing Team Console, signing into an account, using any Team Console feature, or otherwise indicating your acceptance.
If you use Team Console on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms and use Team Console for that organization.
2. Eligibility and Authorized Users
Team Console is intended only for:
- Shot Tec employees, managers, administrators, contractors, and other personnel authorized by Shot Tec; and
- Other business users whom Shot Tec expressly authorizes in writing.
You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms and must satisfy any age or employment requirements applicable to your role.
Access is personal to the authorized user. You may not allow another person to use your account, login session, PIN, authentication credential, or other means of access.
3. Limited License
Subject to these Terms, Shot Tec grants each authorized user a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use Team Console solely for authorized Shot Tec business purposes.
This license does not transfer ownership of Team Console, its source code, workflows, designs, documentation, data models, or other intellectual property.
4. Accounts and Account Security
Authorized users must:
- Provide accurate account information;
- Protect passwords, PINs, authentication sessions, and devices;
- Use only their assigned account or employee identity;
- Sign out or secure devices when unattended;
- Promptly notify an administrator of suspected unauthorized access;
- Avoid storing integration credentials in notes, tasks, browser fields, or other unauthorized locations; and
- Follow Shot Tec’s security, privacy, recordkeeping, and acceptable-use requirements.
Users are responsible for activity conducted through their accounts to the extent permitted by law.
5. Permitted Business Use
Team Console may be used for authorized purposes such as:
- Customer service and customer-record lookup;
- Customer Jobs and service workflows;
- Employee task assignment and work tracking;
- Appointment and check-in management;
- Orders, shipping, fulfillment, and pickup coordination;
- Authorized transactional customer communications;
- Internal reporting and operational analysis;
- Configuration of approved integrations;
- Controlled workflow automation; and
- Other legitimate Shot Tec business operations approved by an administrator.
Team Console is an operational workflow application. It is not intended to replace FastBound or another designated firearms-compliance system of record, payment processor, accounting system, or other legally required recordkeeping system.
6. Prohibited Misuse
Users must not:
- Access Team Console without authorization;
- Access information unrelated to their assigned responsibilities;
- Attempt to bypass role restrictions or other security controls;
- Share accounts or credentials;
- Copy, export, disclose, or use customer information for an unauthorized purpose;
- Enter credentials, payment-card information, government-identification data, Form 4473 information, NICS information, or other prohibited sensitive data into tasks, notes, messages, or unsupported fields;
- Use Team Console to harass, deceive, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate;
- Send unauthorized, misleading, or unlawful SMS or email communications;
- Introduce malicious software or attempt to disrupt Team Console;
- Probe, scan, reverse engineer, or test Team Console’s security without written authorization;
- Interfere with third-party services or their technical safeguards;
- Use Team Console in violation of law, regulation, licensing requirements, or third-party agreements; or
- Attempt to resell, sublicense, commercially exploit, or create a competing derivative of Team Console without Shot Tec’s written permission.
7. Employee and Administrator Responsibilities
Employees must review task instructions and associated Customer Job information before taking action. Completing an employee task does not necessarily complete the associated Customer Job or legal/compliance process.
Managers and administrators are responsible for:
- Assigning appropriate roles and permissions;
- Reviewing ambiguous customer matches;
- Reviewing workflow rules before activation;
- Controlling integration credentials;
- Maintaining appropriate testing and production separation;
- Monitoring automated actions;
- Disabling automation when unexpected behavior occurs; and
- Ensuring required records remain in the appropriate source or compliance system.
Users must verify important information before relying on an automated result. Team Console may provide workflow suggestions, drafts, matches, status summaries, or automated actions, but authorized personnel remain responsible for business and compliance decisions.
8. Third-Party Integrations
Team Console may interoperate with third-party services, including Clover, FastBound, Google, Google Calendar, Calendly, MomentumHQ, LeadConnector, Twilio, and other providers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, permissions, availability, and technical limitations. Shot Tec does not control those services and is not responsible for their independent acts, omissions, outages, policy changes, data practices, or service modifications.
Access to a third-party integration may require separate authorization, credentials, subscriptions, permissions, or agreements. Users may not connect an account or grant permissions unless authorized to do so.
Clover is a third-party service. Clover does not sponsor, certify, or endorse Team Console merely because Team Console is capable of interoperating with Clover. References to Clover or other providers are used only as reasonably necessary to identify interoperability.
9. Firearms Compliance and FastBound
FastBound or another designated compliance platform remains the system of record for firearms acquisition, disposition, and other regulated records.
Team Console is designed to use limited operational data for workflow purposes. Users must not treat Team Console as a substitute for legally required records, forms, background checks, identification procedures, bound-book obligations, or other compliance activities.
Users must not enter or copy Form 4473 contents, Social Security numbers, NICS information, government-identification data, signatures, UPIN or alien-registration information, compliance documents, or similar regulated information into Team Console unless Shot Tec has expressly approved a legally reviewed feature for that purpose.
Nothing in Team Console constitutes legal advice or a determination that a firearm transaction or other regulated activity is lawful.
10. Customer Communications
Authorized messaging features may be used only for legitimate Shot Tec business communications.
Users must respect customer consent, opt-out status, communication preferences, and applicable laws. Users must not attempt to bypass suppression records or send automated communications after a customer has opted out, except where a communication is legally permitted or required.
Automated templates must not include unnecessary sensitive firearm, identity, payment, or compliance information.
11. Data and Privacy
Team Console’s handling of personal information is described in the Shot Tec Team Console Privacy Policy.
Users may access and use personal information only for authorized business purposes. Shot Tec may log account activity, integration changes, record access, workflow activity, communications, exports, and administrative actions for security, auditing, troubleshooting, and business purposes.
Users have no expectation that business activity conducted through Team Console is private from Shot Tec, subject to applicable law.
12. Availability and Changes
Shot Tec may add, change, suspend, or remove Team Console features at any time. Team Console may be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, third-party failures, security incidents, technical limitations, or other causes.
Shot Tec does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent support for any particular integration.
Where practical, Shot Tec may provide notice of material changes, but urgent security or operational changes may be made without advance notice.
13. Intellectual Property
Team Console, including its software, workflows, user interface, documentation, branding, templates, reports, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to Shot Tec and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Customer and business records remain subject to the rights and obligations applicable to those records. These Terms do not grant users any ownership interest in Team Console.
Feedback provided about Team Console may be used by Shot Tec to improve the application without restriction or compensation, provided that Shot Tec continues to handle personal information according to its Privacy Policy.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEAM CONSOLE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
SHOT TEC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND SYSTEM AVAILABILITY.
TEAM CONSOLE DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL, TAX, ACCOUNTING, PAYMENT-CARD, OR FIREARMS-COMPLIANCE ADVICE. USERS REMAIN RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING TRANSACTIONS, CUSTOMER INFORMATION, COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS, WORKFLOW RESULTS, AND COMMUNICATIONS.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHOT TEC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO TEAM CONSOLE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHOT TEC’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO TEAM CONSOLE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- The amount the claimant paid directly to Shot Tec specifically for use of Team Console during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
- One hundred U.S. dollars.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, a user acting outside the scope of authorized employment or business duties agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Shot Tec and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors from claims, damages, liabilities, penalties, and reasonable expenses arising from that user’s:
- Unauthorized or unlawful use of Team Console;
- Violation of these Terms;
- Infringement of another person’s rights;
- Unauthorized disclosure or misuse of customer information; or
- Attempt to bypass Team Console’s security or compliance controls.
This section is not intended to alter rights or obligations that cannot be modified under applicable employment law.
17. Suspension and Termination
Shot Tec may suspend or terminate access immediately when:
- A user is no longer authorized;
- Employment or another qualifying relationship ends;
- Shot Tec reasonably suspects unauthorized access or misuse;
- A user violates these Terms or another applicable policy;
- Suspension is necessary to protect customers, Shot Tec, or a third-party service; or
- Team Console is discontinued.
Upon termination, the user must stop using Team Console and return or delete Shot Tec information in the user’s possession as directed and as permitted by law.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law, and recordkeeping obligations—will survive.
18. Changes to These Terms
Shot Tec may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date.
Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Shot Tec may require users to affirmatively accept material changes.
19. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent a dispute is not subject to another enforceable dispute-resolution agreement, the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state courts located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and the federal courts with jurisdiction over Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
20. General Terms
If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain effective.
A waiver must be in writing and applies only to the specific instance for which it is given.
Users may not assign these Terms or their access rights. Shot Tec may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or transfer of Team Console.
These Terms, together with the Team Console Privacy Policy and any applicable written Shot Tec policies, constitute the agreement concerning authorized use of Team Console.
